Cerveza CEREX y los Thompson Rollets

Aquí tenemos otra muestra de cervezas artesanas elaboradas en Extremadura. En este caso se trata de un par de variedades de la cerveza Cerez elaborada en Zarza de Granadilla, Cáceres: la Cerex Pilsen 5 y la Cerex Ibérica de Bellota.

La Cerex Pilsen 5 tiene un gusto muy suave y equilibrado, es poco aromática y su espuma es escasa y débil. Muestra un color claro dorado turbio. De cuerpo no es densa, muy refinada. Ofrece, como matices, una combinación agradable de cebada y lúpulo.

La Cerex Ibérica de Bellota es de un color marrón oscuro turbio y da una espuma de densidad media. Ofrece un aroma suave, tostado. Tampoco tiene mucho cuerpo, siendo muy refinada. De gusto suave, equilibrado, con toque ligeramente ácido, no tiene matices amargos, dando un regusto final agradablemente pastoso.

¿Y qué tiene que ver esto con los Thompson Rollets? Pues nada, que hacía mucho que andaba detrás de este par de canciones y da la casualidad que las encuentro mientras disfruto de las anteriores cervezas…

Escuché este magnífico tema hace algún tiempo y, aunque realmente no son tan punks como aparentan y un poco más poppies de lo que parecen, transmite una energía positiva y fuerza para la vida, con un toque rebelde que me hace rememorar épocas adolescentes:
